Powder

So what happens when you leave the baby powder out and the baby gets it?

This

and this.

Now you are probably thinking who did this.

Here's who did it.

Reed's bed is right next to their dresser so Charly climbs up onto the dresser and get the powder that is on the shelf. Let me mention the shelf is above the dresser/changing station. Tim and I were in the office and the kids where in their room playing making all sorts of noise. Then it was getting quiet. I walk in and see Charly standing up on the dresser with the little bottle of powder shaking it upside down. Powder everywhere!

Sorry to say she did get into trouble. But after wards I got it all cleaned up with the vaccum and tears dried.  Later in the week when I was vaccuming the carpets everything smelled so powdery fresh. Hummm baby powder.

I found some interesting uses for baby powder besides powdering the baby at this site.

Step
1
It can work as Insect repellant. Just sprinkle baby powder in areas where you see an insect infestation, such as ants, flies, roaches and even wasps. The reason why this works is because the chemical in baby powder called Talcum.

Step
2
It can be used for your hair. If you have no time to take a shower, you can sprinkle baby powder into your hair. Massage the powder into your hair as if its shampoo. Wait a couple minutes and then brush your hair. Be careful not to use too much baby powder because it could result in your hair looking gray. This can not only be used on human hair but on dog or cats.

Step
3
It can absorb perspiration from your bed sheets. Sprinkle a light amount of baby powder onto your sheets at night to absorb perspiration and prevent odor. This will leave your sheets smelling fresh and also prevent sticky skin caused my nighttime perspiration.

Step
4
It keeps your clothes fresh. If you leave a small bowl of baby powder in your closet or dresser it will keep your clothes from becoming musty in the drawer or in the closet. You clothes will smell fresh throughout the day.

Step
5
It can prevent squeaky hardwood floors. Sprinkle baby powder on your floors and buff the powder in with a buffing cloth.

Step
6
Its a carpet freshener. Sprinkle the powder on you carpets. Let the baby powder set for a few minutes and then vacuum the carpet. This helps with removing cigarette smoke odors from carpets.
