Derby has a festival called Derby Days. We went into the town center and just wondered around. Here are some pictures from the area.

I had no idea it was Bonnie Prince Charlie area up here. There is even a Bonnie Prince Charlie walk were you can view different places he went around the city.

The Silk Mill

One of the first factories in England they made silk. Now it is a museum.

Bridge built in 1790 on the Derwent River

We are able to walk into town from our house. It is very different to have all these walking paths at our finger tips. On the way home we pass by the silk mill then venture under the bridge. This bridge was built in 1790s  and just beautiful! Awesome peaces of artitecture around here in Derby.
